Terms and Conditions of Carpet Cleaning Service
By using Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning services you agree to and are subject to the following terms and conditions of service (and entitled to the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee) as detailed below …
General
Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning agrees to perform the work specified by the client in professional manner using every care to accomplish a satisfactory service. By ordering Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning services via telephone, e-mail, fax or website the client is agreeing to be bound by Fetz’s Terms and Conditions of Service.
Carpet Cleaning
Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning will not be responsible for failing to remove old / permanent stains, pre-existing conditions that cannot be removed using normal carpet cleaning methods. Existing damage will be reported prior to commencing work.
Cleaning and Stain Removal
Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning will examine your carpet that has been stained with foreign substances. You acknowledge that the carpet in its stained condition is of lessened value. You understand that variations in carpet fabric and dyestuff composition and that there are instances where stains may not be removed with regular cleaning, or a stain removal process and where discoloration and or bleaching of the carpet may occur. You also understand that it is impossible to test for or predetermine the result of cleaning or stain removal treatment.
With full knowledge of the above you authorize Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning to treat your carpet in an attempt to remove the soiling and stains. You understand there are variables beyond the control of Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning and understand that Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning disclaims any liability for damage caused to the carpet as a result of any cleaning or stain removal treatment. You agree to hold Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning harmless for any damage caused to your carpet as a result of any cleaning or stain removal procedure. I authorize Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning technicians to proceed with the prescribed treatment.
Urine Odor / Stains
If your carpeting is currently damaged due to urine deposits and or feces / vomit, you agree to hold Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning harmless for any damage caused to your carpet as a result of any cleaning or stain removal procedure. Urine deposits can be activated by cleaning, releasing odor and staining material. You acknowledge that the carpet in this condition is of severely lessened value.
There is no guarantee implied or expressed that all urine odor and or stains will be removed. Our 7 day spot free guarantee does NOT apply to urine spots / stains.
Upholstery Cleaning
Backing, lining and other materials and processes used in the manufacture of upholstered items may produce adverse results in the surface material when cleaned. You understand there is no way of determining when such results will occur and that the fabric may be previously experienced deterioration due to such factors as fading, shrinkage, dry-rotting, watermarking, browning, or lose tensile strength. Also understand that manufacturers will occasionally mark items with a black or other colored market on the backside of the fabric. You understand that this should not be done and it has the potential to bleed through when cleaned. You agree not to hold Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning responsible for any of the conditions described.
Carpet Repairs
All carpet repairs are a “salvage attempt” and no guarantee is implied or expressed that the repair will be unnoticeable or invisible. You acknowledge that the carpet in its damaged condition is of lessened value. You also understand that is is impossible to test for or predetermine the result of any carpet repair attempt.
With full knowledge of the above you authorize Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning to treat your carpet in an attempt to repair your damaged carpet. You understand there are variables beyond the control of Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning and understand that Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning disclaims any liability for damage caused to the carpet as a result of any attempt at carpet repair. You agree to hold Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning harmless for any damage caused to your carpet as a result of any carpet repair procedure. I authorize Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning technicians to proceed with the prescribed treatment.
Guarantee
Our company performs the highest quality work and we back it up with our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with any area cleaned, we will re-clean the area. If you are still not satisfied we will refund the amount paid for the unsatisfactory area.
All Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning appointments include an unconditional 7 day warranty against any spot re-appearing. Should any spot re-appear we’ll gladly return and retreat the area completely free of charge when our office is notified within the first 7 days following the completion of the job. ** Does not include urine spots / stains. Obligation under this warranty shall be limited to refunding only the purchase price of that portion of the service as not satisfactory.
Claims
In case of a complaint Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning requires to be notified within 7 days after completion of the cleaning work. No claims will be entertained after the above limit. If the Client is dissatisfied with the work, a cleaner must be allowed to return and re-do the job at no extra charge. EcoClean is only liable for the purchase price of the cleaning service.
Cancellation
The Client may cancel / skip a cleaning visit by giving at least 24 hours notice. Otherwise if not notified on time or in the event that a cleaner travels to the clients house on the designated day and the client is not in or the cleaner cannot gain entry to the property the client shall be liable for the cleaners traveling cost and no refund can be claimed.

Other
The Client must allow the cleaner access to water and power. All fragile and breakable items and all pets and children must be secured or removed during time of service. Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning will provide basic furniture moving, of easy to move pieces such as sofas, chairs, coffee tables, etc (does not include heavy, over 150lbs, or antique items such as pianos, bookcases, armoires, beds, dressers, cabinets, etc). Our basic room rates include basic furniture moving in main living areas only. Any additional furniture requested to be moved for cleaning will be charged at an additional rate of $15 to $30 per additional piece moved. In the case of re-streching where furniture is required to be moved from an entire room Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning will move furniture at room rate of $35 to $50 per room. Our room rates also include basic spot removal and basic deodorizer.
Terms & Conditions of Floodwater/Mold Remediation Services
By using Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning services you agree to and are subject to the following terms and conditions of service as detailed below …
General Agreement of Services
I understand that Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning’s technicians or representatives have informed me of services needed to be performed, costs, timeline and precautions on my part for having technicians and equipment operating in my premises. By ordering Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning services via telephone, e-mail, fax or website the client is agreeing to be bound by Fetz’s Terms and Conditions of Service. I understand that the prices outlined in the attached Floodwater Work Order form are priced in close proximity with Xactimate insurance estimating program used by the majority of insurance companies as an industry standard for pricing restoration items.
Detection of Mold or Other Contaminants
In the case that a Fetz technician while servicing your premises discovers and signs of foreign substances of an unknown origin which resemble thru visible indications of various forms microbial growth, active mold, fungi, bacteria or other conditions that indicate contamination; than such additional remediation of the affected areas may be required. Fetz is not liable for any negligence resulting in contamination that develops prior to the date of service or 7 days after completion of service (completion date on this form). As the customer I understand that any failure to stop the source of moisture and/or treat and remediate the property from any form of contamination will results in continued and rapid contamination, property damage and potentially serious health risks to any occupants of the property; especially elderly, young children or anyone with lung, bronchitis, asthma or other types of breathing/lung disorders.
Customer Responsibility
I understand that Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning will not be responsible for any of my failure to make sure that any of the following instructions are not followed:
·Temperature Control: Please do not open the windows or doors unless instructed by a Fetz technician as this may result in a significant decrease in drying. Please minimize entering the affected rooms. Please set your thermostat to maintain an inside temperature between 68-72°F for best drying results and to prevent or inhibit any development of any foreign substance of an unknown origin.
·Loss/Theft: You are responsible for the loss or theft of any pieces of equipment left by Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning while they are in use for your property.
·Equipment Operation: You are responsible for the continuous operation of the equipment on your premises. Should circuit breakers trip and interrupt the operation of the equipment, please reset them. If assistance is needed, it is your responsibility to contact the Fetz offices in a timely manner for help. Should you have any other power outage problems affecting operation of the equipment, please contact Fetz office immediately.
·Dehumidifiers & Negative Air Machines: Dehumidifiers reduce humidity causes an increase rate of drying. Negative Air machines filter the air reducing contamination in the air. Please do not turn off or move either piece of equipment or disconnect any of the drain lines setup by Fetz technicians at any time without first calling the Fetz office.
·Air Movers/Fans: Air movers and blowers are designed to increase the rate of evaporation, which in turn increases the rate of drying. Please don’t turn off or move air movers without first calling the Fetz office. If moving unit is necessary, they must first be turned off and unplugged.
·Safety: I understand that there are exposed tack strips even when covered and that the floors are slippery and wet. I understand that I am personally responsible for any injury or accidents to me, my immediate family, house guests or any persons in my home during the use of equipment and that children should not be left unattended on or around equipment or exposed to affected area at any time.
Payment of Services
Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning will collect at time or service per the following terms:
·Private pay, non-insurance claims shall pay 50% prior to work beginning and remaining 50% balance shall be paid in full at time of equipment pickup by Fetz technicians or representatives.
·Insurance Claims, shall pay full deductible prior to work beginning and remaining balance shall be made payable to Fetz as issued from the insurance company at the customers direction at time of claim. If payment is issued to customer directly from the insurance company, than customer resumes full responsibility to pay the full balance owed to Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning within 7 business days of receipt of payment from the customer’s insurance company.
Customer accepts responsibility of damages for failure to pay per terms above shall incur a penalty fee of $500.00. If legal proceedings are required to be filed to resolve collection, customer agrees to pay all cost of collection incurred by Fetz, including attorney’s fees.
Claims
In case of a complaint Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning requires to be notified within 7 days after completion of the water/mold remediation. No claims will be entertained after the above limit. If the Client is dissatisfied with the work, a Fetz technician must be allowed to return and evaluate and possibly complete additional measures for a resolution at the expense of the customer.

Other

In the case of water damage where furniture is required to be moved from an entire room Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning will move furniture per rates outlined on the work order form.
Disclosure
Fetz Carpet & Floor Cleaning is not responsible for any interruptions or drying such as equipment being moved, turned off, unplugged, drain lines removed or continual exposure to moisture of any kind and is not responsible for drying not being completed by the initial projected date due to any of these causes. Fetz is not responsible for any damage or ongoing health risks for any services that are refused by the customer at any point during service or delayed request of services by customer.
